Fair

I love the fair. I love the rides, the candied apples, and most of all I love the excitement in my boy's eyes when they see all of the things to do. I also love to see them and their cousins together. What could be more fun than cousins at the fair?

On the other hand I don't love everything about the fair! Like why do the creepiest people come out of the woodwork to attend the Fair (half of them being the workers)...and Walmart? Also who decided that it was a good idea to have the inmates in their green and white jumpers walking around freely at the fair? And my last beef with the fair - would it hurt to wash off the rides or maybe wipe the handles sometimes? I have a hard time fully enjoying my kids riding the rides knowing that soooo many dirty little hands have touched the same handle. (Sorry to everyone that thought I was nice and not uptight).

I am with ya', the only thing that grosses me out worse than WalMart is a good carnival. I look at them now and think, why did I ever think this was fun? Oh well...the things we do for our kids right.

Wow! What an eye opener for me...I usually don't think about stuff (germs) like that...I am all about the fun! But your right...I am going to make my kids wear plastic gloves the next fair we go too!
