What a Blessing

Our Grandma Janet as well as our Aunt Cathy, Uncle Kelly, and cousins Mandy, Kristin, and Billy came from California for a little Hickman family reunion last week. We had such a great time hanging out at Brian and April's with them and wished we got together more often. We also had a ton of people from my side come into town, including my mom, brother, sister in-law, G & G Peck, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We blessed Hayes Sunday, the same day as my cousin blessed her twin boys.

Matt teased that he had the final say of what Hayes would be named and that he was going to change it to Raeder. Luckily he didn't, or he would have been sleeping at the church.

We had a nice time at the luncheon after. We are so grateful for the amazing family we have and for all of their support and love. Thank you to everyone for helping cook, set up, and clean. There were a lot of people between me and Dallas and we couldn't have done it without our families. We are truly blessed.

Here are some pics of the little guy we have been blessed with.

Hayes fussing in his blessing outfit. (one of the only pics I got of just him, I am such a slacker)

4 Generations- too bad G-ma Gladys wasn't here to make it 5.

Our 4 generations with my cousin and lifelong friend Dallas, her boys, and her dad. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I really missed my Aunt Lari (Dal's Mom) that day. She is so special, what an impact she made on all of us. Especially her kids- they are amazing and strong.

You all look so great, I can't believe it has been two months, mine is almost two months too. How much did Hayes weigh at his 2 month appt. He is so cute, he reminds me of my little guy, dark and the hair. Your family is so cute and you sound like you are staying way busy. Dallas's boys are cute, I'm glad you could all share that day together.
